In fact, in many countries, tourism and hospitality activities have been closed for a while. The purpose of this article is to review scientific articles or previous studies related to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the tourism and hospitality sector, followed by a discussion on how to deal with and carry out recovery. We use systematic literature review approach and the previous researches that reviewed in this work is the most recent research since the outbreak of Covid-19 at the end of 2019 until now. We collect them from the research databases i.e.: Google Scholar and Scopus. Things that were reviewed from previous researches are the methodology, main results, and limitations. We produce two scopes of recommendations i.e.: response and recovery steps. We provide an overview of the condition of the tourism and hospitality sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. We provide consideration for stakeholders and business people in the tourism and hospitality sector in facing and recovering the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Finally, we provide subsequent researchers in finding development ideas for future research related to the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic in the tourism and hospitality sector by testing data in the field. © 2022, SRAC - Romanian Society for Quality.
